I was actually just up the street from game 3, watching in the Sheraton hotel lobby in downtown LA. It was cool to be amongst Lakers fans.
You wouldn't think it, but more of the NYC people I know seem to like the Celtics than Lakers. That's surprising given the football and ESPECIALLY baseball rivalry. I assumed NYC sports fans would have a thorough hatred of ALL things Boston flowing through their veins. Maybe it's just that everyone's so mind-boggled by the spectacular ineptitude of the Knicks.
In any case, it's important to be thorough. A good man... and thorough.
